Poet-tree

One of four short poems* written to hang on one of a number of small artificial trees intended to decorate a local church at Christmas 2010.

I’ll hang a poem on a tree
And leave it for posterity.
And if, perchance, my verse you see,
Remember me – and thank the tree.

*The others are The Music Tree, Hug a tree and Oak and willow.
