A local newspaper placard announced: ‘Family tickets for Isle of White’. (Unfortunately, the website that had a photo of it has since ceased to exist, so here’s a pretty picture of IoW flora, instead:)
Oh, what a plight –
It seems last night
The Isle turned White!
(To my delight
It wasn’t right.
So don’t take fright:
The Isle of Wight
Is quite alright.)
